Rockabilly Royalty Returns
The Stray Cats — Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom — put rockabilly back on the charts in the early ’80s with “Rock This Town” and “Stray Cat Strut,” and their live shows remain a masterclass in vintage swing and guitar fireworks. The US Tour stop at Ovens Auditorium pairs them with openers The Chin Chins.
Know Before You Go
Ovens Auditorium sits inside the Bojangles Entertainment Complex on East Independence Boulevard, about five miles east of Uptown. The box office opens two hours before showtime, and tickets are required for everyone age two and older.
