The Matchup
Hershey is the AHL’s most storied franchise and the Washington Capitals’ top affiliate, while Charlotte — the Florida Panthers’ affiliate — defends home ice at Bojangles Coliseum. A 4:00 PM Black Friday puck drop makes this an easy family outing over the holiday weekend, and the teams meet again in Charlotte the following night.
Getting to Bojangles Coliseum
Bojangles Coliseum sits inside the Bojangles Entertainment Complex on East Independence Boulevard, about five miles east of Uptown. The box office opens two hours before puck drop, and tickets are required for everyone age two and older.
Tickets
Tickets are on sale now through the Charlotte Checkers. Also at Bojangles Coliseum this month: see our guide to the Checkers vs Providence Bruins, November 11.
