Friday night hockey on Independence
Bojangles Coliseum is one of the best-value sports nights in Charlotte: every seat is close to the ice, parking is easy, and the Checkers keep the in-game entertainment loud. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is a perennial playoff team, so expect a physical, high-tempo game between two clubs that see a lot of each other in the Atlantic Division race.
Can’t make Friday? They run it back Saturday
The same two teams meet again at Bojangles Coliseum on Saturday, November 7 at 6:00 PM ET, so you have two chances to catch this matchup in one weekend. Friday’s 7:00 PM puck drop is the earlier finish of the two if you’re bringing kids.
