Whitney Houston on Strings

For 60 minutes, the Charlotte String Quartet reimagines Whitney Houston’s best-loved songs for strings, with a program that includes “How Will I Know,” “The Greatest Love of All” and “One Moment in Time.” It is a tribute concert — not affiliated with the artist’s estate — performed entirely by candlelight in Triple C’s barrel-aging room.

The Barrel Room at Triple C Brewing is in Charlotte’s South End, a short walk from the Scaleybark station on the LYNX Blue Line, and rideshare is encouraged since parking next to the venue is limited. Doors open 45 minutes before the 4:30 PM start, seats are first-come within your ticket zone, and late entry is not permitted once the concert begins. Guests must be 8 or older. New to the format?
