About the show
René Marie is celebrated for a voice that can turn from smoky and intimate to soaring within a single phrase, and for songs that tell honest, hard-won stories. Experiment In Truth brings that storytelling to The Jazz Room, the JazzArts Charlotte series that pairs national jazz talent with Charlotte’s own jazz community in a club-style setting — two sets a night, four chances to catch her.
Getting to Stage Door Theater
Stage Door Theater is inside the Blumenthal Arts Center at 130 North Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte. The intimate room puts every seat close to the stage — ideal for a jazz club set — and Uptown parking decks and the LYNX Blue Line are a short walk away.
Tickets
Tickets start at $43.26 through Blumenthal Arts. On the same stage a week earlier, catch Ariella & Nicolaas at Stage Door Theater (Nov 6, 2026).
